#Mi A2 to Go on Sale Today

Xiaomi recently launched its second Android One smartphone, the Mi A2, in India and it will be going up for sale for the first time at 12PM today via Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Homes and Mi Preferred Partner Stores. Like its predecessor, the Mi A1, the Xiaomi Mi A2 also runs on the stock Android operating system and is a part of Google’s Android One program, meaning that it is bound to receive timely OS and security updates. The Mi A2 will be one of the first phones to receive the Android Pie update when it's rolled out later this year. The phone was announced in India last week, and was up for pre-orders till now.

Xiaomi has launched only the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant of the Mi A2 in India. The Xiaomi Mi A2 price stands at Rs 16,999. The company plans to release a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the phone sometime soon. The Mi A2 will be available today in Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold colour options, and one will receive a soft case for it within the box. For launch offers, Reliance Jio customers can avail up to Rs 2,200 instant cashback with the phone, along with up to 4.5TB of additional data. One will also get to avail 3-months of free Hungama Music subscription on the device.
