There is also Wi-Fi + LTE variant that comes only with 4GB RAM and costs 1499 Yuan (approx $173 / Rs 15,600). The Mi Pad 4 is currently available for registrations and will go on sale starting June 29th. It will be available in Gold and Black color options. The Mi Pad 4 comes with a large 8-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It got rounded corners as seen on the current-gen smartphones.
It is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor clocked at 2.2GHz and includes Adreno 512 GPU. As mentioned earlier, the Mi Pad 4 comes in 3GB/4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB/64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of internal storage. In the camera department, the Mi Pad 4 sports a single 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture that can record videos up to 1080p resolution.
On the front is a 5MP selfie camera with the same f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras offer HDR and face beauty. While there is no fingerprint sensor on this tablet, the Mi Pad 4 at least comes with face unlock option. The tablet measures 200.2 x 120.3 x 7.9 mm and weighs 342.5 grams. It is backed by a 6,000mAh non-removable battery that only supports upto 5V/2A (10W) charging input.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE (only on LTE variant), Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (only on LTE variant), 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The Mi Pad 4 comes with metal unibody design and 16:10 display offers relatively thinner bezels.
