In early 2018, Honor launched the Honor 9 Lite with quad cameras and 18:9 display for just Rs. 10,999. Now, the company is getting ready to launch yet another affordable smartphone called Honor 7C. Today, Honor China has confirmed the Honor 7C launch date as March 12th. It will be the successor to last year’s Honor 6C which came with a 5.5-inch HD display. The smartphone was earlier spotted on TENAA with the model number LND-AL30.
Unlike the Honor 9 Lite, the new Honor 7C will only offer dual rear cameras. While the Honor 9 Lite came with glass back body, the upcoming Honor 7C features a metal unibody design. The Honor 7C sports a 5.99-inch display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, we might mostly see the 16nm Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM.
The Honor 7C will be coming with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. In the camera department, the device sports 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device will be backed by a 2,900mAh non-removable battery and might not support fast charging technology. It measures 158.3 × 76.7 × 7.8 mm and weighs 164 grams. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box.
