#iphone 8 :RUMORS

Apple’s high-end iPhone 8 will reportedly pack a 5.8-inch screen and a glass and aluminum body, according to a new report on Tuesday. It’s the latest rumor that seems to corroborate earlier reports suggesting the same.

DigiTimes, the source of today’s report, also said that Apple plans to release 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models. This again suggests that we’ll get some sort of regular iPhone 7s, an iPhone 7s Plus and then the high-end 5.8-inch iPhone 8. We’re still guessing on the names here, some speculation has said Apple may end up calling its premium device the iPhone X in celebration of 10 years since the original iPhone launched.
“The reinforced glass chassis’ stainless steel metal frame will be supplied by Foxconn Technology and US-based Jabil Circuit, while the aluminum-alloy chassis will be supplied by Catcher Technology,” DigiTimes said, again claiming the phone will cost more than $1,000. Don’t let that price tag scare you, though. As we said yesterday, a $1,000 iPhone isn’t terribly abnormal.
