Kitchen-focused tablets need strong voice actions and commands, for obvious reasons – your hands are not always free when cooking! Alexa is a full-featured assistant that can pretty much do anything, thanks to its extensive list of available skills (listed on Amazon’s dedicated page). And the best part is that it can be built into pretty much anything.
This is why TCL has decided to bake Amazon’s Alexa services right into their kitchen-focused tablet. Does it look familiar? That’s because it is. Remember the Alcatel OneTouch Xess? We took a look at it during CES 2016. Alcatel OneTouch is a brand owned by TCL, pretty much making this the same device.
Specs include a 17.3-inch 1080p display, a MediaTek MT8783T processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 5 MP camera, 3-watt JBL speakers and more.
You can now get the Alexa-powered TCL Xess straight from Amazon. It might be a great solution for those who have been looking into getting an Amazon Echo but would also like to have a large screen in the kitchen.
