#Google Messenger updated:brings the chunkiness of Android Nougat to the app.

We haven’t give much attention to Google Messenger lately because there are too many instant messaging apps being introduced. The last information we heard about this chat app was last January when we thought that it was being favored over the SMS and MMS in Hangouts. Over a year ago, the app was updated with location sharing and stickers for some cutesy effect. This time, the IM is getting a round of update that brings the chunkiness of Android Nougat to the app.
Google Messenger now features a more streamlined and simpler design. Quick photo sharing is allowed while the top contacts are just a tap away for faster communication. Sending messages over data or WiFi is possible but some features have been enhanced to make the task easier. You can now see if your friends are typing during your conversation. For unread messages, you will see an indicator on the home screen icon of the Messenger.
Google Messenger allows easy searching of contacts and conversation threads so you can easily backtrack on discussions. You can still remove any interruptions as you wish with the ability to block those SMS senders, giving you more control of the things you receive.
Other special features like message archiving, colored text threads, emoji support, stickers, location sharing, and audio messages are still available.
